Quiet Sunday

We spent a quiet Sunday at Ocotillo Flats, the name of the area within the LTVA we are staying in. We had breakfast and went on a walk up to Coyote Ridge about 3/4 of a mile away. We walked down around the All American Canal and back. We sat out in the sun and read until 4:00 PM. Everyone in the area gets together at 4:00 PM at someones RV and socializes. We met quite a few people and then joined them to cook sausages over a fire. Cathy made a cabbage salad and brought chocolate truffles, both of which were well received. Some of the people have been coming back to this same spot for 10 years. There were people here from British Columbia, Alberta, Utah and Arkansas. Lynn, from Oden UT and I were the last to leave the fire at 8:30 PM, his wife was sick and in their 5th wheel and couldn't see the fire so thought he may have fallen and came looking for him. We found out where the nearest laundramat is and are headed there tomorrow. I have to take Snoopy for his walk before bed, maybe we will run into some coyotes or wild burros, hopefully no rattlesnakes.
