We got up and left for San Diego to pickup Kathryn at Lindberg Field.  The plane was 1 hr late because two of the water trucks in Minneapolis were frozen and they didn't want to travel without enough water.  We drove thru La Jolla, Torrey Pines and Del Mar.  We stopped at a Jack-in-the-Box in Escondido so Kathryn could experience the special sauce.  Drove thu Escondido and looked at the houses Grandpa and Grandma Smith and Johnson owned.  Escondido has changed a lot but alot of things were still the same.  Drove thru Hidden Meadows where I lived north of Escondido near Lawrence Welk's Resort.  Kathryn had never heard of Lawrence Welk.  Drove by his resort on the old Hwy 395 on the way to Temecula.  Stopped in Temecula at Henri's and got Teriyaki ka-bobs for grilling.  Grilled the Teriyaki and watched Gray's Anatomy.  Kathry fell a sleep at about 10:00 PM after being awake for 21 hours.

I still haven't heard of Lawrence Welks, I must not have been listening to you. Also, I didn't even know Jack in the Box had special sauce, but I was hungry cause I hadn't eaten since the day before.
