We will be starting a European travel adventure today.  We will drive to Edina and pickup Kathryn and then go to Alison's house in Hastings.  Sunday morning our son in law Jim will take us to the airport where we will first fly Northwest to Newark and then take a KLM MD-11 to Amsterdam.  In Amsterdam we will take a train to Mulheim an der Ruhr, Germany where we will pick up a motorhome at McRent.  It is an A Class Dethleffs Globebus 1A.  Check the link to see what it looks like.  We will spend the first night in Mulheim to check out the motorhome and then the next day head out thru Germany and Belgium to northern France, then to Barcelona, Spain, Florence and Venice, Italy, Zermatt, Lausanne, Geneva, Basel and Zurich, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Innsbruch, Austria, Munich, Frankfurt and Koln Germany.  We will drop the motorhome off back in Mulheim and take a train and ferry to England and visit London for two nights then to Brussels, Belgium where we will take a DC9 to Amsterdam and then KLM Royal Dutch Airlines direct to Minneapolis arriving June 4th.  We will then drive back to Buxton.  We will have to leave our traveling companion Snoopy at home this trip.  He will be staying with our neighbor Rosie.  Thomas the cat will be enjoying staying at David's apartment in Grand Forks, where he gets a lot of attention.
