Cathy was able to book seats on the Eurostar, a highspeed train that runs between London and Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and Provence.  She upgraded us to the business class for larger seats.  We took a taxi from the hotel to Waterloo Station.  It was a nice Mercedes with television driven by a man fromIndia, who had immigrated about 45 years ago. He thought he looked like Elvis Presley.  Turns out we got an entire car to our selves, which made it very luxurious.  We essentially had a private toilet and all the room we wanted.  Also it  had a plug in for notebooks, so I transfered pictures from the camera to my notebook.  We got to Brussels Midi (Central Station) and looked for the train to the airport.  Our Eurostar ticket was good all the way to the airport.  We had reservations at the Holiday Inn Brussels Airport and took their shuttle to the hotel.  They also have a Holiday Inn Express next door.  This was a hotel with nice amenities, including a complete fitness center.  Kathryn took advantage of the fittness center and then we checked out the restaurant which turned out to be closed on Sundays.  The bar sold sandwiches, but we decided to check out a cafe called Break-Out in a near by village called Diegem suggested by the woman at the desk.  We walked over to Diegem and checked out the center of the village.  Break-Out was also closed on Sundays.  There were two taverns near Break-Out, but they didn't appear to offer food.  There was also a hamburger place.  We had seen a building with Cafe Arbiter on it on the way in and decided to check it out.  They also didn't serve food but we each had two beers there.  It was a friendly place and the waitress and one of the women at the bar spoke English.  We walked back to the hotel and had hamburgers at the bar.
