We left the rest area about 8:00 AM and stopped about 30 miles down the road and filled up with gas at $2.89/gal, they had propane, but decided it was to cold to fill with propane.  That was a big mistake, didn't find any truck stops with propane all day.  Stopped at Blair's campground on the western edge of Wichita on US 400 for the night and also filled with propane.  They have a very nice campground here, 118 pull thru sites and nice bath house.  No cable TV or WiFi, but the Verizon Broadband works nicely with the Cradlepoint router.  We took I29 to St Joseph, Mo then Us59 and Kansas 4 and 24 to Topeka, KS and then the Kansas Turnpike to Wichita, KS.  It cost $11.25 for 140 miles.  Stopped at a nice Walmart in Topeka and got some vegetables.
