We went down for breakfast at the Fountain of Youth.  I had a huge plate of biscuits and gravy and coffee.  We went to see Salvation Mountain created by Leonard Knight and the rest of Slab City 3 miles east of Niland, CA.  It definitly is worth seeing.  We got back just in time to hook up and leave the Fountain of Youth by noon checkout.  We stopped at the Oasis date farm in Thermal, CA and had date shakes.  We had extremely strong winds from Indio to the Morongo Casino.  We got to the KOA in Pomona near the Fair Grounds about 4:30 PM.  We visited with the neighbor who is also going to the Nascar race and then went out for dinner at Chili's.
