We awoke to a beautiful sunny day.  Got everything ready for the move across the street to the fairgrounds for the FMCA convention.  We were parked and leaving for the races by 12:45 PM.  We got to the track for the last 15 laps of the truck race.  Kyle Busch won with Todd Bodine second.  After the truck race, we went down to check out the Fan Zone.  Cathy got a call that her cousins Rick and Larry Steitz were at the track and we spent some time between races talking to them.  There was some light rain, so they put the jet dryers out.  The Nationwide race was supposed to start at 4:00 PM.  At 5:45 PM it started to rain heavier, so everyone started leaving.  Kathryn left with her cousins and Cathy and I went to catch the shuttle .  The shuttles were evidently caught in traffic.  A nice girl driving a very large golf cart offered to take us to the RV lot.  She however, took us to the infield RV lot.  She didn't know where the Napa Ave. RV lot was.  One of the other riders got up front and directed her, so we did make it to the RV lot.  Cathy's cousins and Kathryn had stopped at a Red Robin restaurant on Foothill Blvd, so we joined them there.  We had some good food, said good bye to the cousins and got back to the motorhome about 8:45 PM.  Now it is raining heavily at 10:30 PM.
