We had to say good bye to Marge, Denis, Betty, Flo and Jack today.  They really treated us royally.  We had a lot of good food, conversation and movies.  I took a picture of the campground where Alison and Jay stayed while visiting their grandparents in Hesperia.  We got going about 11:30 AM.  While going thru Lucerne Valley we saw a lot of kids particifating in The Longest Walk, San Francisco to Washington, D.C..  From their WEB site, it looks like they will be staying in Joshua Tree National Park tonight.  We drove thru the park from north to south, about 42 miles at 35 mph.  Beautiful drive thru unspoiled desert.  We stopped at Wiley's Well rest stop west of Blythe to dump, but the dump station was closed.  We did dump at Miller's Park in Blythe.  Drove to Quartzsite and washed clothes.  We are camped for the night at BLM Hi Jolly dispersed camping north of Quartzsite.
