We made it to Louisiana today.  We filled up at Lumberton, TX at a Murphy's Gas for $2.99/gal.  We are camped in Broussard, LA at Maxie's Campground.   I10  by Lake Charles was really bad, didn't know if we would make it  without falling apart.   Every  expansion seam was about a 6" drop.  We went to  Randol's in Lafayette for dinner.  We had Cajun food and Abita Amber beer from Abita Springs, LA.  They had a live Cajun band and three of the band wore a metal vest that was a percussion instrument.  I think they used eating utensils to play the vests. It is called a frottoir. The food wasn't as good as in Livingston, but the beer was very tasty.  It was very windy again, this time a head wind.  This evening is warm and clear without wind.
