We checked out of the Myrtle Beach Campground at 10:00 AM and spent the day at Brookgreen Gardens.  We took the Southern Trek ride to the old plantation site and the Creek Excurion along the levi and rice fields.  We also walked over to the zoo and walked the Low Country Trail.  At 5:00 PM closing time for the Gardens, we headed to Charleston and got here about 7:30 PM.  The drive down Hwy 17 was beautiful, but the high bridges in Charleston are a little scarry when the win is blowing hard, like today. We planned on spending the night at the North Charleston Super Walmart, but when we asked permission, they were very apologetic and said that North Charleston didn't allow it.  We went over to the Cracker Barrel about a mile west and they said it would be alright.  We had a good dinner at Cracker Barrel and will hopefully spend the night here.
