Wednesday - QIA

We stopped at the post office on the way to lunch. It took Cathy 1/2 hr to mail some packages. We went to lunch again at La Mesa RV, we had hot dogs. We got there late and they may have had something else earlier. I went out to Reader's Oasis book store while Cathy shopped at Beall's Outlet. Picked up paul's Sweeti Pie CD and an old Quartzsite VHS video from 1991. There were a couple of authors at the book store. I picked up a book called Frumpy McDoogle, which the author signed. I got a picture of him holding the book. On the way back to pick up Cathy, I stopped at Solar Discount and got a Xantrex 100 watt battery/inverter pack for $25. He was selling them for about 1/3 normal because they had gotten hot and the packing melted and stuck to them, It cleaned off nicely.
We went to the
QIA (Quarzsite Improvement Association) for dinner. They had pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravey and goulash. We joined the QIA. They were having a dance, but we didn't stay for that.
