It rained all  day.  We went in for lunch at La Mesa RV, grilled cheese sandwiches, tomato soup and jello.  After lunch we went to the laundramat and Cathy washed clothes.  We noticed we had forgotten a couple of things, so I drove back to the motor home for them.  We talked to several interesting people at the laundramat, including a couple that had driven down from Idaho in their car, bought a 1991 Fleetwood motor home and a business at Rice Ranch and hadn't driven the motor home yet.  Another interesting woman worked  in health care at the various clinics in the area and her husband was a mobile RV repairman.  I walked across the street to check out the hardware store and lumber yard.  On the way home we stopped at the Big Market, a grocery store/hardware store.  They have a good selection of every thing.  Quartzsite has three grocery stores and a produce market.  We stopped at the produce market for an onion and head of cabbage.  Cathy made German meat pie from her mother's recipe.  It really hit the spot .  We watched Sideways on DVD after dinner.
