Wenesday - Feb 11 - Hull Mine - Pot Luck Dinner

We got up earyl to a nice sunny day. At 6:30 AM it was 41 degrees. We met at Bob and Helenes motor home where Andy and Tess joined us for a trip into the KOFA mountains. We drove up to the
Hull Mine under Castle Dome. We had lunch at the mine and took a lot of pictures of the
cholla and
ocotillo. I also took a lot of pictures of the mountains to the west and Castle Dome and other peaks near the mine. I also took several pictures of the Border Patrol
aerostat, called Fat Alberts.
We got back to the motorhome at about 1:00 PM and I went into Yuma to the new Walmart for some needed supplies.
At 3:00 PM we had a pot luck dinner at the Hobo Kitchen as a going away party for Tess, who is leaving on Thursday for her home in Monterey. There was chili, meat ball hot dish and coconut cake and blueberry desert and two gallons of Margaritas.
We started a camp fire and most stayed around talking until about 7:30 PM.
