The weather was over cast and windy this morning.  We left Fort Stockton at 8:00 AM.  We were going to stop for coffee on the way out of town, but didn't see any place to get it.  It was 200 miles later and at the eastern edge of the Big Bend Country before we got any.  There is almost nothing between Fort Stockton and Ozona, 100 miles.  At Junction, we took US83 south thru the Texas Hill Country to Leaky.  At Leaky we cut diagonally over to DHanis, TX.  We are staying at the Escapee's Lone Star Corral park.  It is very nice.  The waiting list here is about 3 years.  We went into the Hondo, TX Walmart for some groceries, 8 1/2 miles.  We had sausages, beans, coleslaw and potato salad for dinner.  We watched the Huckabyee show on FOX from Elkhart, IN about the RV industry.
