We had a thunder storm early this morning.  By 9:30 AM it had cleared up and was 62 degrees.  We went into Jefferson, TX to get some details on the property and look over the town, which Larry said we would love.  He was correct.  It is a beautiful city with most buildings renovated and many Bed and Breakfasts.  Wehad lunch at the McDonalds and then went to see Larry.  He gave us a copy of the plat map and the last surveyor's description and the owner's declaration.  We then went to the Chamber of Commerce to get info on the town.  We walked around a bit and spent some time in the General Store. We then went back to the property to check it against the plat map.  It looks like there is a large fairly level area on the end opposite the developed end that could be built on.  We drove around the area checking out other sites.
