We took our time getting started today.  It was a cool, 58 degrees, and overcast day. We took off at 1:15 PM to check out the PATH and Subway Systems.  We took the PATH from Grove Street in Jersey City to 33rd Street and 6th Avenue in Manhattan and them took the Subway to 43nd Street and 6th Avenue.  The PATH is $1.75 each way and the Subeay is $2.25 each way.  We bought a MetroLink card for $8.00 which gave us one free ride for Cathy, and two for me as someone over 65.  Walked over to the 5 Napkin Burger where we were to meet Kathryn for Dinner at 7:00 PM.  Walked past Madison Square Gardens and Times Square.  Went back to the motorhome to change clothes and did the same trip over again.  Had a great dinner with Kathryn, Alex (her boy friend) and Andrea (Alex's sister.)  The 5 Napkin Burger is on the corner of 45th Street and 9th Avenue. Cathy put her MetroLink card in the turnstile and it read the card, took off the fare and then wouldn't let her thru the turnstile.  There were a lot of people waiting in line, so it took awhile to get another card.  It had started raing just as we got to the restaurant and continued thru dinner and all the way back to the motorhome.
