We took the PATH to Greenwich Village today. They combine to routes on weekends, so we went to Hoboken both ways. We met Kathyn at
Caffe Reggio across from Washington Square and next to NYU. Caffe Reggio was the first to serve Cappuccino in the US, starting in 1927. I had Cappuccino with whipped cream and cinnamon. Cathy had Cappuccino with whipped milk and Kathryn had a strawberry Italian soda. Kathryn had Tescan soup, Cathy had swiss cheese, tomato and avocado sandwich and I had an arugula salad with home made mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. After wee ate we walked around in the rain and shopped in to
Citarella, a gourmet grocery store. We bought some vegetables, whipped cream and at Kathryn's suggestion, Pumpkin Ale by
Smuttynose Brewing. We left Kathryn to go home on the subway and we took the PATH back to Jersey City. We got back to the motorhome about 6:00 PM. The Nationwide race in Nashville was rain delayed, so I got to watch the last 15 laps. It is raining extremely hard tonight, so we are watching the first season of "Head Case" on DVD.
