We got off to a slow start. We originally planned on leaving Wednesday the 13th, but postponed that to Thursday because of my medical appointments. Thursday about time to leave, Cathy's heart went into atrial fibrillation. She has had this happen before, but it alway went back to normal aithin one-half hour. After an hour I took her to the Emergency Room. With a shot and IV drip of Verapamil it went back to normal. We left at 10:30 AM Friday. We had lunch with Adam and Judy , Joyce and Chris and Duane and Phyllis from the Nodak Flickerrtails WIT Club in Fargo at Ruby Tuesdays. We stopped in Bismarck at about 6:30 PM and had coffee with my sister Julie and brother in law Jeff. We got to Dickinson at 10:00 PM and spent the night at Walmart. Got down to 43 degrees in the motorhome and 28 degrees outside. We went down US 85 to Spearfish, then to Sun Dance, Gillette, Casper, Rawlins and Rock Spring, WY. We spent Saturday night at the Walmart in Rock Spring, WY. Sunday we went on to Evanston, WY, Provo, UT and spent the night at the Red Ledge RV Park in Kannaraville, UT. $20 with full hookups and hot showers. We de-winterized the motorhome and filled with water. Took off Monday morning for St George, UT, Mesquite, NV, Las Vegas, NV and stopped at Laughlin, NV. We planned to stay at the Riverside Casino RV Park, but they didn't have any pull thrus. We tried their Dry Camping, but no sites long enough there either. Had a prime rib dinner with Joyce and Chris. We parked in the Sam's Club lot and Chris came over and picked us up. Had great dinner with a river view. After dinner we headed for Lake Havasu City, AZ. It was raining hard so spent the night at the Love's Truck Stop at the junction of I-40 and AZ-95. New truck stop with four special RV Fuel Islands. Drove the 19 miles into Lake Havasu City arriving at 7:30 AM. Parked at Walmart and did some shopping. I called 3T's to see if we could get in on Tuesday, but they were full. Stopped at BLM office and picked up some maps. Drove to MM 172 on AZ-95 and parked on east side of highway on BLM land. Nice view of the mountains and Cloroado River. Got TV working and will watch electrion returns.
