Another beautiful sunny day.  Over night low was 54 degrees.  The high today in Gila Bend was 73 degrees.  Got up and packed for the move to Gila Bend and then to Scottsdale.  Denis and I went up and dumped and filled the tanks.  We left Imperial Dam LTVA at 10:30 AM and headed for Gila Bend via Dome Valley and old US 80. Betty, Marge and Denis will leave with the WIT Arizona Sun Birds for Puerto Penasco, Sonora, Mexico from Gila Bend.  We will leave for Scottsdale at 7:00 AM and they will leave for Puerto Penasco at 8:00 AM.  There are 14 rigs going on the trip.  . They will be staying at the Playa Bonita RV Park. We got to Gila Bend at 1:00 PM.  I filled up at the Texaco station while Denis looked for the Gila Bend Elks Club where we are dry camped. for the night. They have 8 acres of parking for RVs and ask for a $5.00 donation.  It is a convenient place to stop if you are traveling across Arizona on I-8. Jerry and Betty Nelson drove over to Gila Bend from Mesa Grande to see us, that was a nice surprise.
