A better day, but still not great.  Mostly sunny.  The over night low was 44 degrees and the high today was 60 degrees.  Had my 10th treatment today.  Once a week I see a doctor on Wednesday.  he checks to make sure the radiation isn't causing any problems.  I asked him how the radiation affects cancer cells and healthy cells.  He said it kills cancer cells that it is focused on and also adjacent healthy cells, but the healthy cells are able to rejuvenate and the cancer cells don't.  Walked over to the post office and mailed some letters.  I had some prescriptions that needed to be filled so we went over to the CVS pharmacy at Broadway and McClintock.  There was a Smart and Final warehouse store across the street, so we checked it out.  Their prices are pretty high.  There is a Dollar Tree store next to the Smart and Final.  The pricing was more in line with what we are used to.  Cathy made meatballs on whole wheat linguini for dinner.  It was good and we had some Yellow Tail Merlot with it.
