Absolutely perfect day today. Over night low was 53 degrees and the high today was 80 degrees. Not a cloud in the sky and no wind. I was prepared to watch the NASCAR race at Martinsville, VA. Watched for about an hour and a half until it was postponed to Monday because of rain. We decided to go to the Desert Botanical Gardens in Papago Park. It was created in 1939.  It is at the north end of Papago Park, at the corner of Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe.  You would never know you were in a city.  It is like being way out in the desert. We spent about three hours walking through it and taking pictures. We went back to the motor home and Cathy had a beer and I had the Maui Blanc, pineapple wine that I bought at World Market. The wine is really good.  I grilled Bistro Sensations Spinach and Mozzarella sausages and cathy prepared some squash and whole wheat pasta for dinner.
