Another fine day. Clear and sunny. The over night low was 55 degrees and the high was 86 degrees. We got up early, Cathy at 5:30 AM and me at 6:00 AM. I finished my bowel prep and took a shower. We left at 7:00 AM in the rented Chevrolet AVEO 4 dr. It is a fairly nice car and is comfortable to drive. I drove to the surgery center.  We just had to go up the 101 for about 10 miles. Traffic wasn't bad and we got there by 7:30 AM. Got my registration done and was ready by 8:15 AM. Dr Grado and Dr On the anesthesiologist stopped by and then I was in the operating room at 8:45 AM and was in the recovery room at 9:45 AM. I don't remember any thing until 10:15 PM. Cathy took over the driving duties and we went to the SW Oncology Center for a CT scan. We got home and I had some more Jello. At 6:00 PM Cathy drove us to the Safeway on Dobson to pick up some juice for me to drink and some ice cream. Cathy made macaroni and cheese, green beans and Waldorf salad for dinner. I still don't feel any pain and have been able to urinate. Dr Grado said I would feel good today, but may not feel as good tomorrow.
