The day started out very nice. It was clear and warm. Turned windy and over cast as we drove to Yuma. The over night low in Tempe was 59 degrees. The temperature in Gila Bend when we went through was 82 degrees. When we got to Yuma the temperature was 87 degrees and the wind was over 20 mph. The wind through the mountains on I-8 between Gila Bend and Yuma was a lot stronger out of the west and SW. We are staying in the RV lot at the Cocopah Casino, $5.00 for three nights. The casino grounds are very nice and the buffet was the best I've ever eaten at a casino. All the employees are real friendly.  We met my cousin Kathleen and her husband Leeland from Mission Viejo, CA. They are staying at the hotel here. We ate together at the buffet. We were kind of sad to leave Tempe. We enjoyed our stay there and look forward to going back next year.
