We awoke to rain in Wichita. The over night low was 53 degrees. We continued north on US-81 until we got to I-80. We took it through Lincoln and Omaha Nebraska to Council Bluffs, IA. the day was nice for driving with temperatures in the 60's. We stopped for the night at Harrah's Casino. Harrah's has three casinos in Council Bluffs. The Horse Shoe Casino has an RV park, but didn't have a pull through site. We stayed at the Harrah's Riverboat Casino. We had a parking lot all to ourselves. We were right on the river with a lot of trees and a goose that seemed to own the place. He was very friendly. We celebrated Snoopy's birthday with a dog cake and a present for him. We joined the Harrah's Rewards Club and got a free Subway footlong for each of us and $2.00 off the buffet for each of us. We could have had a free buffet at noon on Friday for playing for 30 minutes.
