When we stopped at the Dakota Sioux Casino last night it was very warm and nice. When we woke up it was cool, windy and overcast. The over night low in Watertown was 48 degrees. This morning at 8:00 AM it was still 48 degrees. We have driven by the
Terry Redlin Art Center Terry Redlin Art Center many times, but couldn't stop because we were either too early or too late. This time we stayed at Watertown so we could spend time there. It is a very beautiful place and we spent about four hours there. It is three floors of his art layed out in a perfect sequence to appreciate it. I spent about 1 hour outside walking around the grounds. There are several gazebos to sit in and watch the geese. There is a theater room where you can watch two interviews with Terry. This really adds to the art. There are two gift shops with a lot of very nice things, including Schade' wine with Terry Redlin labels. They will be having an outdoor band concert on August 7, 2010. It will be the seventh annual concert. It is free. We drove non stop to Fargo. We stopped and had coffee with Chris and Joyce. We then stopped at Mills Fleet Farm to stock up on candy and fill with gas. Gas with the discount was $2.71. We stopped at Stamart to dump the tanks. We got home just before dark. I got the Jeep unhitched and got the motor home parked. The neighbors across the street, Bryan and Traci have a new boy two days old and the neighbor to the north, Ilene had friends out sitting around a fire. It has been a very warm and dry April here. Found every thing in the house to be working and in good condition.
Total miles traveled January to April was 5,322 miles.
