We were awakened at 8:30 AM by a call from John Evans who had spent the night at Stamart in Bismarck. Called Gary Arman and made plans to meet him for coffee at Barnes and Noble at 10:30 AM. Cathy did some shopping in Walmart and we went to Barnes and Noble.

Gary mentioned that we had known each other since the second grade, 61 years. Talked about up coming 50th high school class reunion. Picked up a couple of bargain books and headed out for Medora. Stopped at the Tessoro station for gas at the Center turnoff. Filled and found out we got over 8 mpg. Stopped at the Painted Canyon Visitor Center where there were several horse trailers and a lot of people on trail rides. Got to the Red Trail Campground at 2:00 PM MDT. Set up then met with others for Happy Hour at 4:00 PM and dinner at 6:00 PM.
