We had a storm after the intermittent rain Friday night. Started about 8:30 PM for a couple of hours. About 1 1/2" of rain. tornado warning about 20 miles south of Forest City. Nice clear hot muggy day Saturday. Went out to Pamida for ink jet cartridges and Bill's for beer and cola. Several more Flickertails rigs pulled in. Denis and Betty, Mark, Ann and Shane, Juan and Jane. Went to Mass at St James at 4:00 PM. Stayed for sloppy joes and pie put on by the youth group at 5:00 PM. Delicious sloppy joes, choice of white or whole wheat buns. Went up to the boulevard to watch the fireworks at 9:45 PM. Got started actually at 10:00 PM. The mosquitoes were bad so didn't watch until the end.
