Another nice day, partly cloudy, 71 degrees. We left at noon for Globe, AZ, about 70 miles east on US-60. We were going to come back on SR-88 the Apache Trail, but when we started out on it from Globe we found out four miles of the trail were closed until January 21. So we went back to Apache Junction and then east on SR-88 to Goldfield Ghost Town. It was about 5:00pm while we got there and the surrounding mountains were really beautiful in the setting sun.  We took several pictures, including Kathryn on the balcony of the Bordello. We drove back to Tempe thru down town Mesa. Kathryn and I went to KFC for chicken for dinner.
