Another perfect day. It was sunny, but only got to 68 degrees. It got down to 37 degrees overnight.
Horace arranged for all of us to have dinner at Sweet Darlene's at the east end of the main street in Quartzsite. As we got there a couple of cars pulled out and we had parking spots right by the entrance. We got there at noon and our orders were taken by 12:15pm. We didn't get our food though for over an hour. Once we got it, it was good. I had the BBQ beef special, Cathy had a Reuben sandwich, other had salads, chili and turkey sandwiches. bob and Hazel didn't make lunch, but went for the fish fry at 4:00pm. It took them an hour to get to the door, an hour to get a seat and a half hour to pay after dinner.
After lunch we went over to the Main Event. There wasn't much there. We then went over to the shops by Hi Jolly's tomb. I bought a couple of nice shovels and a coolant over flow container. There was a vendor selling all kinds of car parts and tools.
We got back and went to the Happy Hour fire.
We had sladas and cold cuts for dinner.
