An absolutely perfect sunny day. The high was 75 degrees and the over night low was 41 degrees. Cathy went for a 1 mile walk to the turn around with Andy and Skipper.
We went into the
Arizona Market Place , a covered flea market. There didn't seem to be as many vendors as last year. They added a beer garden and Rex Gibson, one man, one guitar, 500 songs, was performing in the beer garden.
Rex Gibson - One man, one guitar, 500 songsAfter going through all the aisles and a couple of mobile homes on display in the parking lot, we went to Target, Best Buy and Walmart on Pacific. I was looking for a case for my Nook Color, bought the one at Walmart for $14.88. We also picked up some things for the Taco Dinner back at Ocotillo Flat.
We stopped at the post office in Bard and got back to the motor home just in time for the Taco Dinner. Cathy baked a cake before we went into Yuma. We had a real good dinner. We also heard about Jack, our friend from Arkansas, that was diagnosed with leukemia. It sounds like he won't have to under go any specialized treatment and will be joining us here about the 15th of February.
After dinner Bob L started the fire and we sat around until after dark.
