The furnace kicked in about 6:00am. Checked the outside temp, it was 31 degrees. At 7:00am it was down to 29 degrees. It was sunny and the wind had gone down. The high for the day was 54 degrees.

In the morning I did some research and phone calls in preparation for my ODNA meeting with UND on Friday morning. About noon we drove into Yuma via AZ-95. There was some really large scale harvesting going on just outside of Yuma. Stopped for gas for the generator at a convenience store. Unleaded is now up to $3.07/gal. Stopped at the Walmart on Pacific. Picked up a few essentials and looked at digital cameras. Next went to the Yuma Palms shopping center. I left Cathy at Penny's while I went to Best Buy to look at cameras. Ended up buying a Panasonic ZS5 with 10X optical zoom and a Leica lens.

Went to the Walmart on Avenue B to pick up ice cream, cookies, a case for the new camera and a SD memory card. Tried the case when we got back to the motor home and it was too small.

Stopped at the Paradise casino to use our $10 free play. Card didn't work, turns out you have to have the February promotion loaded on the card. Cathy won $7 and I won $5.85. Stopped at the post office in Bard and then got back for the second half of Happy Hour at Bob and Helen's.

John, who owns a walnut orchard in northern California stopped by with a big bucket full of Walnuts. Finished off the day with cold meat sandwiches, lettuce salad and wine.
