The temperature got down to 44 degrees at the Flying J in Phoenix. It was nice and sunny at 8:30am when we went over to the warehouse to pick up the solar panels. It was quite a place. We picked it up at
Freeport Distribution in Phoenix. It is a company that provides outsourced shipping, receiving and warehousing for dot-coms. They also provide office space. The software is integrated with all the dot-coms, and the dot-coms never have to touch the product. They have over 1 million square feet of warehouse. Was able to put the 3 solar panels in the basement and we were off. We drove I-10 to Deming, NM where we spent the night at the
Dream Catcher RV Park . During the day we saw a lot of NASCAR semis and motor homes. The motor homes were all towing a pickup with a golf cart in the box. These are the motor homes the drivers live in. They are driven by drivers and the race car drivers fly in to the tracks. The golf carts are what they use to get around the track. Dream Cather is right next to the Holiday Inn and several of the semi drivers were staying there. They were the semis with the souvenir merchandise. The MRN satellite truck was also parked there. Kevin Harvicks and Danica Patricks trailers were there and I took some pictures. We ate at the Holiday Inn. Cathy had chicken and I had shrimp. They had a nice salad bar and it was reasonable. They do have an all you can eat breakfast between 6:00am and 8:00am for $6.99, should have gone for that instead. The high for the afternoon in Deming was 67 degrees. It is at an altitude of 4,500ft.
