We left at noon on Tuesday and drove to the Walmart in Corsicana, TX, about 160 miles. After all that driving the Adventurer chassis battery was still dead. Went into Walmart and got a new Maxx Start 65S battery. It has a three year replacement warranty. Nice weather all day. Sunny and no wind about 70 degrees. There is a Murphy Gas here so scouted out how to get in and then gassed up the motor homes. Wednesday drove about  150 miles to Cathy's cousin Carroll's house in Sunset, TX. Stopped at Carl's Corner, TX  where the Willie Nelson theater is. This is where Willie's Place on XM Radio was broadcast. Not any more, the whole place including truck stop and gift store were closed down the first week in February. Even the parking lots are blocked off. Then stopped at Camping World in Fort Worth. Picked up a close out pure sine wave 1,000 watt inverter for $165. They also had a 2,500 watt for $350. Very large store and RV sales lot. Got to Carroll's about 4:00pm. There were a bunch of wild turkeys near where we parked the motor home.

Carroll has two RV spaces with full hook ups. he keeps his fifth wheel in one and has the other available for visitors.

We spent the week enjoying Carroll's place and eating every night with him and Roxanne. Their grandson Ben was there for a couple of days, he is four. We went into Bowie to Walmart a couple of times. Cathy is having trouble with Pradaxa and switched to Warfarin, we were able to get it at the Walmart pharmacy in Bowie for $4. Saturday night we took Roxanne and Carroll to dinner at Casa Torres in Decatur. It was really good. We stopped at Walmart and picked up an ice cream pie to top it off when we got home.

During the days we had temps in the upper 70's, most nights were in the 50's. Friday and Saturday nights were cold. Friday night in the upper 30's, but Sunday morning it got down to 27 degrees.

We left Carroll and Roxanne on Sunday about 12:30pm and drove to Sulphur Springs, TX where we are spending the night at Walmart.
