Yet another perfect day. Having struck out so much at Lowe's and Home Depot, I decided to check for hardware and home improvement centers in the Foothills. We stopped at Foothills Hardware and Lumber. My aith was restored in hardware stores. Picked up just about every thing I needed. What I didn't was because I forgot some of the things I needed. We proceeded on to the Arizona Market Place. I went to Wally's World and picked up the bolts that i needed for the back board. I checked things out while Cathy went her own way. not as many vendors as last year, but still a nice place to shop. Picked up some taffy in my favorite flavors.
Stopped at Walmart on Pacific for a couple of things for dinner then on to Sam's club for gas. Filled the 2 gallon containers for the generator and the Jeep. $3.449/gal. Decided to chance going to Home Depot, they had every thing I wanted. Stopped by Bard to check the mail and then back to motor home. Grilled sausages for dinner.
Sunny day, the wind picked up at about 4:00pm. Over night low 52 degrees, high for the day 77 degrees. The wind was 4 mph most of the day, but picked up to 21 to 25 mph late in the day.
