An absolutely perfect morning, sunny, warm and calm. Went out and mounted the car top carrier on the Jeep. Loaded it up and did a few things to prep the motor home for moving. at 9:30am had my UND ODNA meeting by conference call. After the meeting, finished packing hooked up the Jeep and went up to the dump area and dumped. Really was lucky to have avoided disaster. I noticed a drp on the bayonet connection of the sewer hose. One of the hooks was cracked, held it manually while dumping and then threw the hose away. Headed out to Quartzsite on US-95. Filled up at Pilot, $3.579 with $.02 discount. Stopped at RV Lifestyles on the west edge of Quartzsite and picked up a new sewer hose. Headed out on I-8 for Anaheim. Stopped at a rest area east of Indio to walk Snoopy. Got to Riverside, CA just in time for rush hour traffic. Was using my new RVND-7710 GPS. I picked it up at the Quartzsite RV Show. This was the first time we used it. It has a 7" display and worked well.

Got to Anaheim RV Village RV Park at 6:30pm. We had to disconnect the Jeep at the entrance even though we had a pull thru site. The park was build in the 70's and it has tight turns. Attendant guided me into the site and we were set for the night.

My cousin Kathy and husband Leland came at 7:30pm and we went out to eat. We went to Mimi's Cafe, just a few blocks away. We had noticed a Mimi's in Yuma, but never ate there. Really a nice atmosphere and really good food at decent prices.

Kathryn texted me at 9:15pm that she had just landed. He cousin Stephen was there to pick her up. She then texted me that they were going to Newport and she would see us in the morning.

Watched Letterman and went to bed.
