We had a fairly nice morning, cool at 46 degrees and partly sunny. Got going at about 9:30am. Went south on I-15 to I-8 to Yuma. Filled up with gas at Sam's Club for $3.559/gal. Stopped at RV connections to pick up a screen door latch which had broken. Also picked up a chair for Kathryn to use. Went to the camp host at Imperial Dam, but they were closed, probably for President's Day. Got to our camping spot at Octillo Flat in time to join the group for Happy Hour at Bob and Doris'. Introduced Kathryn to the group, Sandy and Lynn's daughter and son in law had also come while we were gone. Cathy had made arrangements to fly back for her brother in law Merlin's funeral and found a shuttle from Yuma to Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix. We went to check out the departure point at the Coffee Bean in Crescent Center. Found it and decided to order chicken for dinner at Churche's and eat on our way to Walmart in the Foothills. Got back to the motor home about 10:00pm. Cathy finalized preparations for the trip. Was watching Letterman when they seemed to loose the network feed. They filled it in with a home repair show.
It was sunny with a NW wind of 5 to 13 mph, gusting to 17 mph.
