Woke to a warmer, but windy morning. Overnight low was 51F and high today was 76F.
At 11:00AM we rode with Donna to Los Algodonnes, Baja California, Mexico. It is a few miles SW of Yuma. We parked in the Quechan Indian Parking Lot and headed across the border.
It is an easy walk from the Parking Lot to the Border
The Shopping District is quite small
Donna wanted to purchase glasses and schedule dental work.
Donna ordered glasses at Dol Dental and Optical. She got the exam and glasses for $165. They had told her $850 in Hazen.
Cathy and I sat outside on a comfortable bench while she had her Eye Examination

After she finished her examination, we went for lunch at Paraiso
Donna and I had the Chimichanga Special and Cathy had the Burrito Special
Entertainment was provided by Mariachi and Loco
We then went to look for the Fortuna Dental Office, it is on 2nd Street, the main street from the border
While Donna got her dental examination, Cathy and I shopped in the large liquor store.
They don’t want you loitering in the Restrooms
I bought a Kahlua Coffee Liquor and a Don Pedro Brandy for $16.
When Donna met us at the liquor store, we headed for the border. Donna has an appointment for tomorrow morning at 8:00AM. The line was extremely long and it took us two hours to cross back to California
We stopped at Walmart and the Bard Post Office on the way back to Quail Hill.
We had Chef’s Salads with Chicken Strips for dinner.
We watched Americas Got Talent
