Wednesday 1-29-20 Trip to Yuma via US-95

Partly cloudy, windy and warm. Overnight low was 54F and high today was 71F. Wind 10 to 30mph, but seems stronger.

After breakfast, Joy and I took the garbage to the dumpster and walked around west side of Quail Hill. We met Bernie who worked for NCR and retired 30 years ago. He has a nice tree at his campsite. He has a bird feeder hanging in it

At noon we headed into Yuma via US-95 so Donna could see what it looks like in the day light. Went by Tiny Chapel and farm with BBQ snack bar and antique store.

We drove over to Foothills Blvd and then back towards Yuma. We stopped at Fry’s. Donna got a VIP card. I got a 12 pack of Tecate.

Stopped at Pacific Walmart. Got a $5 car wash at Jiffy Lube Soft Cloth Car Wash. Stopped at DD’s Discount and Dollar Tree. DD’s Discount is just like Ross Dress for Less, but seems to have better prices.

Stopped at 99 Cent Only for produce. Then stopped at Home Depot to get a plug to make an Edison Plug for Donna’s inverter.

Made baked macaroni and cheese and tossed salad and Donna brought brats.

Called my son Jay to see how he is doing after knee replacement. He sounded good and was able to go home same day. We talked about real estate in Belize.

Watched Criminal Minds.
